Many years ago a missionary came to my door to preach the gospel. I don’t recall what denomination she was from, but I do remember that she was concerned for my eternity and pleaded with me to listen. Sadly, at the time I was very much in the world and deceived by New Age ideas, and so all she got from me was my sarcastic response: “Sorry, I’m too busy living in the now to worry about an afterlife.”
