But I disagree with your thinking that carbs are digested easier than meats. People with bags that collect waste because of intestine removal report that meat is digested. But most of the veggies are not well digested.
I never said the perfect diet is vegetarian or from the garden of Eden. Abel had sheep and they were eating dairy at least. Regarding meat, meat is harder to break down for many because age and other factors diminish hydrochloric acid. Carbs are easier to digest because you can test this for yourself very easily. 850 g of meat and 50 g of carbs like rice or even 50 g of salad and you tell me which one is going to make you hungry again and how soon. I can guarantee you that the rice or the salad is not going to last you very long where is the meat will last you much longer because it takes longer to digest.
