I really enjoyed this episode. She was very nice and the questions she had were great. I wake up early and I know I shouldn't look at my phone but I check Substack to see if you have a new episode. So heck yeah, wake on up and set the speed to 1.5 , hot tea and another edifying message. Thank you 😊 πŸ’ͺβœ¨πŸ™.....such a blessing

I do the the same thing, wake up and see there’s a new episode, such a blessing

That was great Tudor. Thankyou. I praise God for you helping me learn.

Can you please do something deep on Zechariah on its own? The people I want to share your work with are going to use this book to argue their understanding. I would really like to be fully prepared to meet their challenge.

I talk about that in my revelation 20 video in the end time series, check it out and see

I had that same question Andrea, and you are right, they absolutely do use it in their argument, but that video he recommended was very helpful. They'll say you're calling God a liar, but the reality is, the old testament is like that in countless typological lessons.

I want to be friends with Sammy! I wish we could do an online bible study with one of Tudor’s bible study

God allows us to be β€œrefined,” by the consequences of our actions.

Loved this! Also, Tudor, I would be very interested in joining your online group teaching, if God so leads.

Great episode. She asked many questions I would have asked. I have wrestled with "predestination" and "free will" for years. As I came to Christ later in life, I can see how God was pursuing me over those years.

Yes, to the online group study

The devil accused God of being a controlling tyrant, and that’s why people obeyed Him, so God is using this plan, to prove that people love Him for Who He is! You can’t force someone to love you, but that’s what Satan’s claim is! So with Jesus sacrificing Himself, (And everything else He does for us!) the people who come to realize this, WANT to obey Him and love Him!

Does this sound correct Tudor? This is what I have been taught and came to believe.πŸ™πŸ»

In some sense, but mankind has no free agency to love God. The mystery is that, for God's glory, God has redeemed a people and caused them to obey.

I know this is my failing, but I wish I could understand better why God has to torture unbelievers after the Judgement, as opposed to just quickly destroying them (unless they are obviously dreadful people, like the well known ones we often quote). It's especially hard to understand if you believe they had no choice in their unbelief.

I know I'm thinking in human terms, but I lost my beloved younger brother a few years ago and he wasn't a believer, although he was, sporadically, a questioner. In human terms he was the loveliest person - devoted husband and father and loved even by people he worked with. But he wasn't aware of how much people loved him - he was quite self-deprecating and not proud. Accepting what is going to happen to him (and possibly to my own daughters, who are not believers either) has probably (no, defnitely!) been the hardest thing to deal with in my return to Christ back in 2021 (I was raised and continued in the Reformed tradition until almost 50, took my children to Sunday School etc. for all of their childhood, then for personal reasons, I gradually slipped into agnosticism over a period of about 20 years).

Maybe it's a thing women have a harder time getting our head around - I don't know. I sometimes feel men can maybe consider dying, tortured people with more equanimity.

I have your library, but it will take me a long time to get through it all - is there a particular part of your Salvation series, for instance, or the Afterlife series, where this specific topic is dealt with, Tudor?

This really is extremely useful. if you can practice following two trains of thought occurring simultaneously, you will begin to be more efficient in these conversations. we have all been where these questions originate, and it is very important to follow the logic because it almost always occurs exactly like this.

Tudor, she is darling. Is there some attraction there? Blessing, Sharon
