I believe when we die, we sleep. I believe that the waking of Samuel by the witch was actually an appearance of a demon. If he was actually woken by God to appear he wouldn’t be asking “who woke me,” he would have known it was God that woke him. But what about the appearance of Elija and Moses at Jesus’ transfiguration? Were they not in the grave, but in heaven with God? Elija was taken alive by God, and the devil believed he had the right to Moses’ body and contended with the archangel Michael over it or was it his soul for which they were contending? The devil believed he had the right to Moses because, as a member of the pharaoh’s household, Moses would have became a member and taken oaths and pledged allegiance to the gods of the secret societies of the time.

When Abraham and Isaac went up the mountain together, and Abraham was told to sacrifice Isaac, do you think Abraham believed that one way or another he was walking back down the mountain with Isaac since God promised that through his promised child that nations would be blessed?
