Listen now | In the book of Revelation, Christ famously warns the Church about the Synagogue of Satan — yet the identity of this group has been hidden behind half-truths and seductive conspiracies.
That hit the spot Tudor. Thanx. You managed to land an encouraging blow into an area I didn't even realise needed a little attention. In fact you jogged my memory of something that I
I heard a while back which has left me inttigued ever since? I heard that the number one grievance of Angels is that us people just don't talk to and consult with them enough....a daily activity that they apparently adore to engage in.
It was also a long overdue reminder to me that as,a trainee Chrisrian I must develop my habits of Asking Christ For Help much more frequently
I think I heard you say once that we can actually do precious little without Asking For specialised Help at Key moment So what say you Tudor? Is there any truth in this Angel business?
I don't understand what you're saying. The Bible doesn't say anything about talking and conversing to Angels, or that they are sad we don't do that enough with them. These things are Catholic myths and fairy tales, we have God through Jesus and that's who we communicate with.
Well firstly I wasn't saying it, I was reporting it and wondered just how supernatural all this gets? To me it is the elephant in the room. The nature of the unseen I mean. Paul's words are pretty explicit ." Wrestling is very concrete a form of hand to hand combat is it not?Doesn't sound like "a fairy tale"to me? Neither does Jesus banishing unseen ghouls into a group of pigs or telling a cripple to pick up their things and walk home!!! No, something very specific is being referred to here. Some hidden supernature that in Christianity never seems very far away. I think it is perfectly acceptable and correct to muse over these puzzling mysteries. Tell me, when you pray or speak to Jesus, is that "a fairy tale" too?
I didn't say angels don't exist. I said that conversing with angels or whatever other contact with spirits people may be claiming is a deception. The world is supernatural, but our door to that reality is Jesus. Any angel coming to chat with you is not an angel but a demon disguised as one, that you can count on.
